we experienced an exciting congress in Frankfurt am Main this weekend.
The latest study results on botulinum and filler therapy were presented, including the introduction of consensus guidelines and a variety of energy-based devices as new therapeutic additions to botulinum and co.
This was followed by a review of the anatomy of the facial region, a very important topic to be able to offer our patients the safest possible injection technique. Here Sebastian Cotofana, Professor of Anatomy, USA, once again delivered a masterclass in the art of dissection.
Live demonstrations covered the question „Which filler for which indication“ in detail, followed by an expert panel discussion addressing interesting questions and contributions from the conference participants.
The congress was rounded off by plenty of workshops. We chose the workshop on the topic of:
“State of the art – innovative treatment strategies using minimally invasive procedures, focusing on a holistic view of the face and demonstrating a patient-specific treatment plan for restoring a natural and fresh facial contour.
