Skin grafting

Closure of a wound by a superficial, area-based skin harvest, e.g., from the thigh or head (split-thickness skin graft), which heals like an abrasion, or complete skin harvest (full-thickness skin graft), e.g., from the groin, behind the ear, inner upper arm, etc., with primary closure of the donor site.
