Coolsculpting

With so-called „CoolSculpting“ or „cryolipolysis“ (kryos: frost, lipa: fat, lysis: dissolution), fat cells are destroyed by cold, which can be used to contour problem areas of the body. For this purpose, a small device is placed on the area to be treated, the fatty tissue is suctioned in for approx. 30–60 minutes and cooled down to 4 degrees Celsius. The procedure is particularly suitable for problem areas on the abdomen, hips, thighs, waist, knees, and back. The skin is protected in the process to prevent irritation. Within a few months, the dead fat cells are broken down and the effect becomes visible. Repeated treatments may be necessary.
