Breast Implant Illness (BII)

Collective term for systemic symptoms that women with breast implants attribute to their implants, such as fatigue, joint pain, or difficulty concentrating. BII is not a recognized diagnosis; there is no test and no ICD code. Studies show improvement in many affected women after implant removal.
